Esbjerg to Copenhagen by bike: Ringsted to Copenhagen

Part 6. We have lunch on the beach before branching inland to reach the centre of Copenhagen, and our basic hostel.

Part 5. Today offers us a short train ride, a lovely beach, a surprise party invite and six tiresome punctures.

Part 4. The route's paving and signposting deteriorate as we cycle through thick forest to reach a very depressing hotel room.

Part 3. After a dangerous start, we pick up cycle route 6 and head east across rural Denmark, but struggle to find refreshments.

Part 2. We endure the wrath of many railway workers as we journey to the Port of Harwich, where I am singled-out for a customs search.
